Foods to increase haemoglobin
Hemoglobin is a protein found in red bloodcells. Responsible for carrying oxygen throught the body. It is neccessary to maintain normal level of haemoglobin in your blood
Normal range:
Adult men:13.8-17.2gm/l
Adult women:12.1-15.1gm/l
Children:11.0-16.0gm/l
When the level of haemoglobin drops you might experience some of the following symptoms
• fatigue
• dizziness
• muscle weakness
• hairloss
• headache
• pale skin
If haemoglobin drops beyond an acceptable level the condition is called anaemia .
Can overcome by following strict diet including foods that are rich in iron,folicacid ,vitamin c and vitamin B12
Foods that help boost haemoglobin
1. Spinach
Rich in iron,fibre,betacarotene,
calcium and vitamin A,B9,C and E spinach are the best home remedy for increasing haemoglobin.drink spinach soup or fresh spinach juices regularly.
2. Beetroot
Rich in iron it is neccessary to include beatroot in your daily diet to increase the red blood cells
3. Red meat and sea foods
Red meet includes beef,lamb and others are rich in iron and vitaminB12Sea foods includes fatty fishes like tuna,salmon and other sea foods like oysters, mussels are rich in iron which helps in boosting haemoglobin in the blood
Dry fruits and dates are some of the most nutrients dense food helps to increase haemoglobin and absorption of iron in the blood
